Sunday class members gathered for dinner and music at Savannah Park in Maryville. Thanks goes out to Lee for letting us use his great club house and to Jan who as always..does all the lifting!

Monday and Tuesday Mike Lambert, Yvonne Lambert King, Walker Johnson and Gary King played golf. Monday was Laurel Valley in Townsend and then on Tuesday at Green Meadow Country Club in Maryille. Denise Johnson joined the group on Monday.

Many great old lies were retold and a few new ones created all three days.

Late addition is The Mountain Folk Reunion Band...
better known as the OLD MAN BAND. These boys are
as old and often OLDER than us and they play tunes
we all have forgotten. Sunday they will be hanging out and
playing a few songs. Don't confuse this with
a dance band or a concert..LONG way from that!
Naturally they are playing for free..they know our class very well!

Lots of changes this Christmas season in Blount County.
None of us would ever dream the miles and miles of gutter
lights would be become old school but they sure have. Yep
this year it is all about inflatable critters and globes and
Santas! Soon as the wind chimes start to rattle we all get in
the 53 Buick and run the back roads watching the blow ups take flight!
If you come to visit, Hunt Road is always a hot spot for
various yard art. If you do capture any of the creations with your
dig. camera be sure to send them to us for posting!
